Thankfully no one was hurt in the accident, but there was immense damage done to a small town liquor store, and not to mention the couples vehicle that crashed through the store’s front window. Kurgo Video Contest
As a way to introduce our new product the Kurgo Winga we are holding a video contest. The Winga is a great new toy for dogs that provides a unique spin on the simple game of fetch, keeping everyone entertained for hours. We want to see the fun and original games that you can come up with, using the Winga and your dog.
The first place winner will receive $500.00; second place is $250.00 and third is $150.00. All winning videos will be posted on our Web site, with the possibility of being placed in other media locations as well.

Calling All Dogs!!
Dogs needed for our company photo shoot!
Kurgo products, based in Salisbury, MA designs, produces, markets and sells numerous dog travel products with numerous local and national retailers such as Orvis, Petsmart and Costco (for more information on Kurgo visit our website at www.kurgo.com).
We are looking for great dogs to model our 2010 line of products. The photo shoot will be held on October 22nd in Salisbury, MA and should only take 2 hours per dog. All participants will receive product samples and some photos from the shoot. If you are interested in having your dog featured in some of our national marketing campaigns please e-mail a few photos of your furry friend. Please keep in mind that there will be other dogs and people around so your dog needs to get along well with others! We look forward to hearing from you!!

H.H. Backer’s 43rd Annual Pet Industry Christmas Show Comes to an End
Known to be one of the nation’s largest pet shows, H.H. Backer’s 2009 Christmas show concluded this past Sunday, 10/4 in Chicago, IL. As an exhibitor Kurgo would like to say thank you to everyone who organized the event and participated. The nearly 1,200 booths displayed many of the newest and most sought after pet products on the market today. Retail buyers came from all over the country with close to 8,000 in attendance.
Below are some photos of the Kurgo booth (#629). Partnering again with Toyota, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to display and demonstrate our products in the new Toyota Venza!

MSPCA * Angell Walk for Animals
The MSPCA – Angell Walk for Animals took place last week in Boston, Hyanis and Methuen. Over $350,000 dollars was raised this year to help homeless, abused and injured animals. Over 2,500 animal-lovers and 1,800 dogs joined statewide to promote and support. Kurgo got in on the action, attending the Newbury event at Spencer Pierce Little Farm and demoing the NEW Kurgo Winga. This month we were pleased to be able to provide product for the charity auction as well; the farm is truly a beautiful place and the hardworking volunteers did an amazing job making sure the fundraiser ran smoothly. The Spencer Pierce Little Farm is a national historic landmark located on 5 Little’s Lane in Newbury, Massachusetts. Kurgo donates to charities and not-for-profit organizations all over the country.
